Marketing - Natixis

Objective:

As part of retained marketing services, JPES Partners was tasked to plan a client conference that would launch Natixis Global Associates in the UK market and raise awareness of its alternatives offering via its affiliated managers.

Delivery:

  • Conducted extensive venue search and selection process to identify a venue that reflected Natixis’ brand. This included negotiation of venue hire, leading to a significant reduction in costs, and advice on the event management and running order.
  • Developed the client conference theme, Alternatives Route to Diversification, and agenda. This included developing the content of a number of panel sessions, identifying the appropriate asset manager to speak and advising on presentations.
  • Identified and secured guest speakers for the client conference and subsequent dinner; these included James Mackintosh, Investment Editor, Financial Times, and Robert Peston, Broadcaster, respectively.
  • Advised on the design and content of marketing materials produced for the client conference.
  • Advised on the invitee list

Results:

The client conference, Alternatives Route to Diversification, was a success for Natixis with attendees comprising institutional investors, investment consultants and intermediaries and other industry contacts. Attendees were provided with insights on the advantages of diversification through alternatives with the following issues discussed: whether sacrificing returns for liquidity is a valid trade-off; managing volatility; and the many guises and potential benefits of sustainable investing. The client conference helped to raise the profile of Natixis and its alternatives offering in the marketplace, as well as complementing on-going marketing efforts.
