He is uniquely placed to provide insight into the corporate positioning and communications strategies of financial services businesses having spent 11 years at Schroders as Institutional Marketing Director and Global Head of Communications.

He works with clients to identify their USPs and create key messages that can be integrated into benchmark marketing materials and sophisticated media relations plans that raise companies’ profiles and position them as thought leaders within the investment industry. He also guides clients on a range of reputational issues which reflect the complexity of financial markets and the industry in which they operate.

He has developed a specialism in launching new firms into the market advising on the development, integration and delivery of marketing and communications strategies. With an in-depth knowledge of the sector and its key media channels, he works closely with clients to create communication strategies which support business development.

He has extensive experience within financial communications, having previously worked as a news editor and financial journalist at ShareCast and Thomson Reuters in the UK. He also worked for eight years in South Africa, opening and managing the Johannesburg office for Epic MSLGROUP, which was the country’s largest independent agency prior to being acquired by Publicis Groupe.

Miles has advised clients across the financial services spectrum (financial regulator, banks, asset managers, insurers and credit ratings agencies) on reputational and crisis issues, developing strategic communications programmes and training senior spokespeople on how to successfully interact with the media.

Duncan has more than 20 years’ commercial property experience, both as a senior journalist and as a communications professional advising both public and private companies.

A former Deputy Editor of the UK's leading commercial property magazine, Estates Gazette, he has worked with a wide range of public and private companies including Mayfair Capital Investment Management, JLL, British Land, Colliers International, Acuitus, Farebrother and Chancerygate.

He has ten years’ communications experience, has specialised in the investment sector for the last seven years and has considerable experience in developing and implementing targeted media relations programmes for traditional and alternative asset managers, wealth managers, private banks and family offices.

He joined JPES Partners from a City PR agency where he managed communications programmes for investment businesses, law firms, accountancy practices, real estate businesses and technology providers.

A graduate from Cass Business School, Krupa began her PR career in the consumer sector, providing media relations and events support to numerous luxury brands.

After leaving full time employment with Unilever plc in September 2010 after 14 years, Angela became the Director and owner of Wilton Associates, a company she established. Wilton Associates provides a range of services which leverage her 30 year career in the pension industry. This includes acting as independent advisor for investment committees of pension funds, independent advisor for Boards of investment companies, as well as a broad range of consulting services including supporting multinational companies who are interested in pooling solutions for their worldwide assets. In her prior role at Unilever she had oversight of the investments arrangement of Unilever’s pension plans worldwide and worked with trustees to design strategy and select the resources needed to manage all aspects of the plan.

Angela works in partnership with JPES Partners, where her expert knowledge and experience of the industry is applied in the design and implementation of strategic marketing projects across a range of asset management clients.

He has worked in financial and corporate communications over several decades in a wide range of capacities, primarily focused on issues relating to strategy and planning. He has been on the boards of two major international communications consultancies as Research and Planning Director, where he worked on many aspects of communications within the asset management industry. He was Communications Director of Cinven, one of Europe’s largest private equity firms, for over a decade.

Steve is a graduate of Cambridge and London Universities. He has written extensively on medieval politics and warfare, including the strangely little read ‘Monarchy and Lordships in the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem, 1099-1291’, Clarendon Press, and has an honorary position on the history faculty at Royal Holloway College, London University.

Rupert is founder and CEO of D5 Capital, a corporate finance organisation which specialises in media and technology. During his career, he created, built and sold his own financial PR agency (Focus Communications). Focus Communications acted on over 50 IPOs and M&A transactions during the 1990’s, growing to 60 staff and £5m revenues before being sold to Grey Advertising in 1998. He then established D5 Capital which has advised over 30 digital, PR and data services agencies on their strategy, growth and sale.

In 2013 he published ‘Making Millions from Creativity’ (Matador, 2013) as a guide to agencies in the UK seeking to build and realise value. D5 Capital also manages a private funding platform for media and technology companies in Europe which has so far raised over $40m for high growth companies and has enjoyed 3 successful exits.
