The seminar presented JPES’ proprietary research, analysing key trends likely to drive news agendas in 2020, which was debated by a panel of leading industry figures including the CIO of the Royal Mail Pension Scheme, a senior regulator, prominent investment consultant and a wholesale market specialist.

Nick Watt, political editor of BBC’s Newsnight, gave the keynote address, assessing the UK political landscape and outlook within the context of Brexit.

JPES Director Matt Rogers commented: “The level of interest and participation during the event shows how critical these topics are within the investment industry. The ability of asset managers to address these issues will go a long way to determine how successful they will be.”
