In a recent survey, we asked the investment media whether they preferred virtual or in person events. The results were nearly dead even: 45% of journalists preferred virtual meetings and events anytime, anywhere, while 55% preferred in person – but only, they were quick to note, after 9 AM.
What’s the thinking behind this preference? To find out, we sat down with Jonathan Stapleton, Editor of Professional Pensions and Krystle Higgins, Reporter at Citywire Selector, who reminded us how important personal connections are in their line of work – but also, if you want them in the room for an event, it will have to be worth their while.
