JPES Partners runs a series of Masterclass Seminars, exploring some of the major topics on the minds of sales, marketing and communications professionals at asset management firms.
Our latest Seminar was held in February 2025 and explored the addressability of the European insurance sector – including asset allocation and manager selection criteria. This has been a recurring topic of conversation during the past few years, as managers seek new distribution channels, and this event was held to answer some of the questions managers have been posing.
The seminar, which was a re-run of a sold-out event in November 2024, was delivered in partnership with research house Novantigo – strategic consultants to the investment industry. Co-founders, André Schnurrenberger and Justina Deveikyte, presented findings from their annual study into the European insurance market to a roundtable of asset management professionals.
Following the Masterclass, we have collated a report of some of the key discussion points that arose, highlighting learnings and considerations for asset managers when reflecting on their own culture. Some of the key takeaways include:
