It has been created by Dartriver– the specialist investment, development and asset management company – and German investors, Conren Land and Indigo Invest. The new company will be run by Neil Thompson and Ben Chambers, who were together longstanding directors at Great Portland Estates plc. The new business intends to build a development and investment portfolio with in excess of £1bn of assets.

Neil Thompson commented: “This is a transformational step for our business, it provides substantial firepower for us to execute our active approach to investment and development in London.
“Conren Land and Indigo are ideal partners for us. Together we will invest on behalf of significant private capital, focusing on the long-term strengths of the London market. London is adapting to new market conditions with an ever-broadening occupier base and sustained demand for investment opportunities.”

Indigo Invest is an independent German Real Estate investment company which has invested extensively in Germany, Spain and the Netherlands and entered the London market in 2016. Going forward its London business will be exclusively via CLI Dartriver.

Head of JPES Property, Duncan Lamb, commented: “Neil and Ben are two of London’s most respected development and investment experts. The new business will have tremdous expertise and financial firepower”.
