Julian has over 30 years’ experience in the asset management industry. He started his career managing money as a UK equity fund manager, before spending 11 years at Schroders as Institutional Marketing Director and Global Head of Communications, and five years as Marketing Partner at a hedge fund.
He works with clients to identify their USPs and create key messages that can be integrated into benchmark marketing materials and sophisticated media relations programmes that raise companies’ profiles and position them as thought leaders within the investment industry. He also guides clients on a range of reputational issues which reflect the complexity of financial markets and the industry in which they operate.
He has developed a specialism in launching new firms into the market advising on the development, integration and delivery of marketing and communications strategies. With an in-depth knowledge of the sector and its key media channels, he works closely with clients to create communication strategies which support business development.
