Preparing for a due diligence review
Objective
JPES was appointed to advise a specialist emerging markets credit manager on key messaging, narrative delivery, and presentation content ahead of a due diligence exercise being conducted by a global investment consultant on one of its flagship strategies.
Approach
Further to a ‘blind’ review of all key existing collateral, we undertook a virtual workshop with the strategy’s portfolio manager and the company’s senior executives to advise on the structure of such due diligence exercises and likely questions. We also reviewed the presentation the company planned to give.
Result
We provided detailed written recommendations following the workshop, allowing the company to reshape its presentation and which resulted in a successful due diligence visit.
